Ok you do not need to be a pilot to tell good stories! They do not even need to be about the person at the controls.

If it is related to flying of any kind it is of interest here.

While some people are natural storytellers, some are comics and some stretch the truth to breaking point there is nothing better than a good yarn while we wait for the weather to clear.

Anyone reading this page is here because they are interested in what you have to say, it's all in the title!

Some tales are educational some are funny, we can all probably learn something either way.

Storytelling is a great tradition in Scotland. The Braga, was a social gathering brought by the Vikings where tales of great deeds were told. That is where the word "bragging" comes from.

We are not here to outdo one another or give a forum for the big egos out there. I'm all for free speech but ego maniacs and bullies are in the wrong place.

A bit of controversy is good for debate but let's keep it friendly.

So whether you are interested in Hang gliding, helicopters or aerobatics as a pilot or spectator feel free to join in.
